Lua Body garments are developed through ongoing experimentation: testing fabric blends, refining fit, washing and wearing. The goal is not perfection but progress, crafting pieces that feel aligned with the wearer.
When we set out to create this new knit, we knew what we didn’t want: pieces that pinch, squeeze, or lose shape after one wash. We’ve worn those before and we wanted better.
This fabric took time. The goal was to find a blend that felt secure but not suffocating, something with enough structure to hold its shape, but enough give to let you move how you want to. What we landed on is a tightly woven mix of bamboo, spandex, and polyester. It feels sculpting, but it doesn’t fight your body.
From the first wear, you’ll notice the compression it holds you in, without hard lines or harsh seams. But after a few wears, you'll notice a shift, the fabric starts to mold to you, adapting to the way you move, bend, stretch. And when you wash it, the fibres recover returning to their original form, ready to do it all again.
We’ve designed this in a micro cut, intentionally close to the body. It’s flattering, but minimal; if you want a bit more coverage, we’d recommend sizing up. Either way, this piece is about ease. It’s made to feel good on, and to last through a life in motion.
